Overview
Kissed By Dew Photography (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates kissedbydew.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit the site or place an order, how we use it, and your rights regarding it.
We collect only what is necessary to fulfill your order and operate the site. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
Information We Collect
When you place an order we collect the information needed to complete your purchase and ship your print:
- Full name and email address
- Shipping address (street, city, state/region, postal code, country)
- Phone number (optional, used by couriers for delivery notifications)
- Shipping method preference
Payment information is collected and processed entirely by Stripe. We never see, store, or handle your card number, CVV, or bank details. Stripe’s privacy policy governs how they handle payment data.
When you browse the site we may collect standard server log data such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referral URL. This is used solely for security monitoring and diagnosing technical issues, not for advertising.
How We Use Your Information
- To process and fulfill your print order
- To send order confirmation and shipping notifications to your email address
- To share your shipping address with Prodigi (our print fulfillment partner) so they can produce and dispatch your order
- To respond to inquiries or support requests you send us
- To detect and prevent fraud or abuse
We do not use your information for targeted advertising and we do not share it with data brokers or analytics companies.
Third-Party Services
To operate the shop we work with the following third-party processors, each of whom may receive limited personal data as required to provide their service:
- Stripe: payment processing. Receives your payment details directly. Your order amount and a reference ID are shared so Stripe can charge you correctly.
- Prodigi: print production and fulfillment. Receives your name, shipping address, and the print specifications needed to produce your order.
- Sanity: content management. Hosts the product and image data that powers this site. No personal customer data is stored in Sanity.
- Vercel: web hosting. Processes requests to this site and may log IP addresses for security and performance purposes.
Each of these providers operates under their own privacy policy and data processing agreements. We choose providers who take data security seriously.
Cookies & Local Storage
This site uses no tracking cookies and does not run third-party advertising scripts. We do not use Google Analytics or any behavioral tracking.
The checkout flow uses your browser’s localStorage (not a cookie) to remember shipping details you’ve entered, so you don’t have to re-type them. This data never leaves your device and is only read when you open the checkout. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser’s site data, or by unchecking “Save shipping details” in the checkout form.
Stripe may set cookies on its hosted payment page (stripe.com) as part of their fraud-prevention system. This is governed by Stripe’s own cookie policy.
Data Retention
Order records (name, email, shipping address, items purchased) are retained for as long as required by applicable tax and accounting law, typically seven years. After that period, records are deleted.
If you contact us via the site contact form, we retain your message only as long as needed to resolve your inquiry.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct inaccurate information
- Ask us to delete your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us. We will respond within 30 days.
Children's Privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of the page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
Contact
